Overview
We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy HR Generalist with AI skills to support our business client. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in core HR functions and a curiosity for leveraging artificial intelligence and automation to improve HR processes, data accuracy, and employee experiences. In this role, you’ll handle key HR responsibilities across the employee lifecycle—while enhancing efficiencies through smart technology and AI tools. You'll support everything from onboarding and benefits administration to compliance and culture initiatives, playing a vital part in modernizing our client’s HR operations.

Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day HR Operations
• Administer onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and HR records
• Provide guidance to employees on policies, benefits, and general HR inquiries
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in personnel data, documents, and reports

AI & Technology Integration
• Use generative AI tools to draft job descriptions, HR emails, policy templates, and FAQs
• Utilize automation and AI features in HR platforms to streamline workflows like time-off approvals, onboarding checklists, or document generation
• Leverage AI analytics tools or dashboards to identify trends in turnover, engagement, or attendance

Data Management & Reporting
• Maintain and audit HRIS data for accuracy and integrity
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports using AI-assisted dashboards or built-in analytics tools
• Support data-driven decisions around headcount, compensation, and compliance

Employee Experience & Culture
• Coordinate engagement surveys and help analyze results using sentiment or keyword tools
• Support internal communication using AI-enhanced templates or employee portal updates
• Assist with planning recognition, wellness, or DEIB initiatives

Compliance & Risk Mitigation
• Ensure all employee processes align with federal and state labor laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.)
• Monitor changes in HR policy requirements and assist with policy updates using legal AI summaries or generators
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure ethical AI use in all HR-related tech applications

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

·         3–5 years of HR Generalist experience

·         Familiarity with AI tools and HR systems

·         Experience working with HRIS or HCM systems

·         Basic understanding of employment law and HR compliance standards

 ·        Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

·         Tech-forward and willing to learn emerging HR tools

·         Friendly, approachable, and responsive to employee needs

·         Discreet and ethical in handling sensitive information

·         Agile and open to process improvements and innovation
